Meet Aisha
Aisha Adams is a writer, equity advocate, and community leader who has dedicated her career to empowering communities and fostering inclusivity. Based in Asheville, North Carolina, Aisha is the founder of Aisha Adams Media, where she develops innovative programs and initiatives that address critical issues such as affordable housing, mental health, and environmental justice.
Creating Opportunity
Aisha’s impactful work includes leading Black Wall Street AVL’s GATE program, which supports entrepreneurial success, and The GO Places Leadership Academy, designed to cultivate leadership and career readiness. She is also the creator and host of The Asheville View, a digital talk show amplifying diverse voices and exploring meaningful community conversations.
Her commitment to creating equitable opportunities has left a lasting impact on Western North Carolina and beyond. Recognized for her transformative contributions, Aisha has received several prestigious awards, including the WomanUP Women Entrepreneur Best in Business Award, the Excellence in Business Top 25 Award from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Award for 2025.
